All food and beverage sales will be operating as card only. There will not be an option to use cash on site for food or drinks – this also includes fairground rides and cloakroom facilities.
There will be a selection of the finest Beers, Lagers, Ciders, Wines and all types of Canned Spirit Mixers available across all bars as well as a selection of non-alcoholic drinks. There will also be ice-cold sparkling and still mineral water for sale across the site – these will be available in cans with a resealable top which can be used also as an option to refill at the free water station.
There are no single-use plastic items across the site. There will be a water refill station in use which will be located next to the medical and welfare area.
Tokyo World 2023 will see the return of many of our most loved Food Stalls as well as a host of exciting new traders who will be offering all kinds of delicious food.
Many of the Food Stalls at Tokyo World are equipped to provide for all manner of dietary requirements and will be selling vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and meat options.
All bars will have card readers and contactless to take payments for drinks and we do advise you to bring a card or a device with Apple Pay or Android Pay or another equivalent contactless payment service with you to purchase food & drinks as we are a Cashless event.
Tokyo World festival takes place over two days in Bristol’s Eastville Park.
Day 1 – Saturday 16th September from 11:30 AM – 23:00.
Day 2 – Sunday 17th September from 11:30 AM – 23:00.

Tickets for Tokyo World will be sold in advance only, no tickets will be available at the festival site.
Last Entry is at 5pm.
Should you have an extreme circumstance which will prevent you from arriving before the gates close, you will need to contact the festival in advance using our contact form.

Once you leave the festival there can be no re-entry, this is a condition of our licence set by local Authorities.
This year Tokyo World is a strictly 18+ event, photo ID will be required to gain entry.
All set times will be completed, finalised and shared during September.
Music will begin at 12pm. We strongly advise arriving just before 12pm to avoid possible queue times.

There is only one entrance point. This will also be the Exit Point during and after the Festival.
There will also be several Emergency Exits. These will be clearly signposted and only used in the event of an Emergency.
We advise all customers to either walk or cycle to the festival site. For those of you who prefer to travel by car, we advise car-share and to park away from the immediate area of Eastville and walk in, as this is a heavily residential area.
Bristol main train station is Bristol Temple Meads.
Be Aware: Remember to check whether rail works will affect your journey using GWR’s handy journey checker.
If you are using local trains in Bristol, please be aware that queuing systems may be in place at Clifton Down, Redland, Montpelier and Bristol Temple Meads. Please allow extra time for your journey.
If you are travelling to Bristol by train, there will also be Tokyo World buses from Bristol Temple Meads station. The shuttle service will run throughout the duration of the festival. The service will begin from 11am, ending at midnight.
There will be Tokyo World Shuttle Buses available from Bristol Temple Meads Station, Bristol City Centre (Colston Avenue) and Bristol Bus and Coach Station (The Haymarket) throughout the day from 1130 each day.
Tokyo World Shuttle Buses will run at least every 10 minutes.
Return tickets on the Tokyo World Shuttle Buses cost £5 and can be purchased by cash or contactless from ticket sellers at bus stops or from the bus driver.
Tokyo World Shuttle Buses are ideal for returning from Tokyo World into the City Centre or for going to Temple Meads Station.

Information Tent
If you have lost an item, feel like you need to report anything or need any information please go straight to the information tent where assistance will be provided. This tent will be located inside the festival next to the entrance/exit point.
Cloakroom
To maintain high security of all items our cloakroom and storage area is manned, accessed and operated solely by our team, this way you can enjoy the festival hassle-free.

Eastville Park prohibits camping. There are no fields, areas, or facilities for camping.
There are many local hotels, Airbnbs, hostels and Bed & Breakfast properties which can be found on the internet. We advise you to book early and to secure your accommodation in advance.

Tokyo World Festival – Ticket Policy
Tokyo World ticket policy remains the same as every year, the Ticket Contractor cannot refund your Ticket if you decided not to attend or were unable to attend for your own personal reasons.
Eastville Park
Please ensure when arriving at Eastville Park to respect the park, park users and the wildlife within the park. Street drinking is prohibited on all nearby streets to the Festival Site, please do not bring alcohol to the area around or inside of the park as alcohol will be on sale across the Festival Site as well as a selection of non-alcoholic drinks and waters.
When leaving, please remember that the houses that surround the park are filled with elderly people, young professionals and families with children, make sure to bear this in mind en-route to and while exiting the festival and behave in a quiet and respectful way!
Toilets
There will be toilets both inside and outside the arena including next to the entry queue and within the grounds of Eastville Park. Please ensure that you use these should you need to go to the toilet prior to entering the arena.
Drinks & Waste
Please do not bring any glass, plastic or metal to the nearby area or festival location and ensure that any waste is disposed of in one of our bins outside and inside of the arena space.
No food, opened or unopened bottles of beverages, including unopened water, will be allowed through the festival gates. These conditions are set and enforced by the local licensing authority and are a legal obligation as part of our licence conditions.
Waterpoint
There will be free tap water available from the water point which will be located next to the Welfare, Medical and Information point. There will also be ice-cold canned sparkling and still mineral water with a resealable top on sale across the site and at all trader pitches.
Medical & Security
Medical
There will be a medical team on site in addition to a welfare team who will also be present should you suffer heat stroke or feel unlike your normal self at any point during the event. There will be clear signage indicating the location of both of these stations.
Police & Security
There will be strict search policies in place at the festival gates. Security will have the right to refuse entry if any illegal substances or banned items are found in your possession or you are deemed unfit for entry.
Police will also be on site and any customers in breach of the law may be detained and arrested. As well as working within the arena there will be security working outside of the event and within the whole of Eastville park for your safety.
This year the arena space will be secured by a 20-foot steel shield. Please do not make a wasted trip to Eastville Park, Bristol if you do not have a ticket. There will be both patrolling and static security both inside and around the outside of the entire perimeter of the steel shield.
For any immediate local residents of Eastville who wish to attend Tokyo World, discounted tickets are available. Please apply to contact@tokyoworld.org. These tickets will only be available to local Eastville residents. You will need to provide a valid photo ID and proof of address to qualify for this.
Detailed Festival information will be posted to all local Eastville residents, as well as those outside of the immediate Eastville area, at the start of September 2023. Within this information, you will find a contact telephone number and direct email to our onsite office at Eastville Park. The contact telephone number and email service will be operated from the hours of 12 Midday to 23:00 on the 16th and 17th of September 2023. Both will be specifically for local residents only, both are to be used to raise any concerns regarding noise pollution, litter, anti-social behaviour or matters that you feel had a negative impact on you caused by the festival.
If you have any concerns prior to the festival or would like to contact us after the event about any of the above please email contact@tokyoworld.org.
If you use the email or the telephone number during the event, you will be required to give your full name and address. All emails and calls during and after will be recorded and logged, these will then be forwarded to the local authority.
Tokyo World takes this very seriously and we will do our utmost to ensure that we act and respond accordingly to resolve and help with all emails and calls both during and after the event. However, if for any reason when you contact our telephone number on the day of the event, you should find the line is busy then please leave a clear message with your name and telephone number so that our telephone operator can call you right back.

We hold all lost property for 1 week after the Festival during which time collection is available to be arranged
